Stevenage Borough vs Morecambe - Injuries up front proving troublesome for Stevenage

Stevenage are struggling for firepower to sustain their play-off ambitions, with striker Ben Kennedy still short of game time ahead of the home match with Morecambe

Kennedy's return at home to Barnet was short-lived, and at Colchester his replacement Josh McQuoid was one of two players responsible for an own goal each in the damaging 4-0 defeat.

Tom Pett played the full 90 minutes against the Us, following his recent return from a leg injury.

Dean Wells, an unused substitute last weekend, remains in contention for a recall in defence.

Morecambe goalkeeper Barry Roche has received good news this week about his wrist injury.

Roche had thought he would miss the remainder of the season, but has been told he does not need surgery and is keen to be involved again as soon as possible.

Friday's match is likely to come soon, though, so Danijel Nizic will keep his place after making his league debut against Hartlepool last weekend.

Midfielder Alex Kenyon serves the second of a two-match ban following his dismissal against Cheltenham.
