Nottingham Forest vs Huddersfield Town - Danny Fox ruled out for Huddersfield showdown
Posted Thursday, April 06, 2017 by PA
Struggling Nottingham Forest will be without suspended defender Danny Fox when they host promotion-chasing Huddersfield in the Sky Bet Championship.
Fox serves a one-game ban after being dismissed for two yellow cards in the midweek loss at Wolves.
Striker Ross McCormack has been struggling with illness and will be assessed ahead of kick-off.
Forest, just two points above the drop zone, have been boosted by the return to training of defenders Jack Hobbs and Damien Perquis following their injuries, although it is unlikely either will feature against the Terriers.
David Wagner is without attacking duo Kasey Palmer and Izzy Brown for a further week due to injury.
The two loanees are set to return on Easter weekend, with Palmer having been out of action since the win over Leeds in early February.
Sean Scannell has stepped up his return from injury by turning out for the under-23 side on Thursday, so is likely to be back in contention next week as long as there is no reaction.
Dean Whitehead is available once again following a one-match suspension, but will have to oust Jonathan Hogg who made a successful return from a neck injury against Norwich.
