What could be better as a mother than to see your son make it as a professional footballer?
Doncaster Rovers’ players paid the ultimate tribute to the Mums on Mothering Sunday by walking out of the tunnel alongside a selection of their nearest and dearest.
Leading out the teams at the Keepmoat Stadium for their crunch game against Plymouth Argyle, it was a lovely little touch on a fine Sunday afternoon.
And the decision to get a selection of mothers to help lead the team out on what should be a fairly tense afternoon at Doncaster was widely praised by fans online.
