Peterborough United vs Oldham Athletic AFC - Leo Da Silva Lopes back from ban
Posted Friday, March 17, 2017 by PA
Peterborough will have Leo Da Silva Lopes available when they host Oldham in League One.
Lopes served his one-match ban during the midweek draw at Chesterfield after his sending off last Saturday.
Marcus Maddison remains a doubt because of an ankle injury while Jermanie Anderson and Gwion Edwards (both knee) have already been ruled out.
Beyond a potential recall for Lopes, Grant McCann is not expected to make many changes to the team that started on Tuesday.
Oldham manager John Sheridan will consider bringing in fresh legs for his side's trip.
The Latics beat Oxford 2-1 in midweek and have lost just once in their last eight games, but Sheridan will not be afraid to change a successful formula.
One enforced change is likely after left-back Rob Hunt suffered a recurrence of his hamstring injury against Oxford, although Sheridan hopes the problem is not serious.
On-loan striker Lee Erwin scored both goals on Tuesday in just his third start under Sheridan and will expect to keep his place in the starting XI.
