Oldham Athletic AFC vs Oxford United - Hunt and Wilson set to return for Oldham

Posted Monday, March 13, 2017 by PA

Rob Hunt and Brian Wilson are available for Oldham against Oxford at SportsDirect.com Park.

Brighton loanee Hunt was left out against Bury as a precaution due to a hamstring problem while Wilson served a one-match suspension having been sent off against Walsall.

Midfielder Lee Croft remains banned after picking up a dismissal in the same fixture.

The contest is still too early for either Cameron Dummigan (hamstring) or Charles Dunne (pelvis) to come back.

The visitors are hoping to build on Saturday's 2-1 victory over Peterborough after suffering back-to-back defeats in their previous two games. They currently sit six points adrift of the play-offs with 11 games remaining.

On-loan Chesterfield defender Charlie Raglan is doubtful with a thigh injury after missing the last two games and he will be assessed ahead of the clash.

Fellow defenders Christian Ribeiro and Sam Long continue their recovery from injury after featuring for the U's development side last Wednesday, with Ribeiro an unused substitute against Posh at London Road.

Oxford will hope Chris Maguire can get back on the goal trail at Oldham. The 28-year-old has struck 13 times in all competitions this season but has yet to score a league goal in 2017.
