Carlisle vs Luton Town - James Bailey banned for Carlisle as injury problems also mount

Out-of-form Carlisle will be forced into a reshuffle as they look to end a four-game losing streak against Luton.

James Bailey earned a late red card in Saturday's loss to Cambridge and starts a three-game ban, while the Cumbrians also sustained two new injuries in the match.

Striker Jabo Ibehre was forced off with a hamstring problem and Mike Jones limped away with the recurrence of an ankle complaint.

Jamie Devitt (thigh), Macauley Gillesphey (medial ligaments), Jason Kennedy (groin), Shaun Miller (knee) and Michael Raynes (calf) are all being assessed by medical staff.

Luton captain Scott Cuthbert is set to miss the long trip north.

The defender hurt his hamstring against Stevenage on Saturday and is highly unlikely to be risked.

Dan Potts returned to the starting XI in the same game but lasted just 45 minutes and Town will have to assess his match fitness.

Teenager James Justin is ready to step up at left-back if needed, while Alan Sheehan can fill several positions having played in three different roles at the weekend.
