Coventry 0 - 2 Bradford AFC: Robins has wings clipped by Bantams on return to management with Coventry

Five minutes of superb attacking play saw Bradford clinch a 2-0 win at rock-bottom Coventry.

The Sky Blues had been hoping the second coming of manager Mark Robins would reverse their fortunes, but their 15th manager in 16 seasons seemingly made little difference.

Coventry had just about held their own in the first half but Bradford just cut loose after the break.

Substitute Alex Jones volleyed home from a Tony McMahon corner in the 51st minute and then forced a fine save out of Lee Burge just two minutes later.

Former Coventry midfielder Romain Vincelot hit the bar and then, in the 56th minute, Jordy Hiwula saw his shot deflected in as the Coventry defence went missing again.

Robins must have been uplifted in the opening period. The enterprising Ben Stevenson went just wide in the 10th minute before Stuart Beavon forced a save out of Colin Doyle four minutes later.

But that was their high point, and they now look doomed to Sky Bet League Two football next season.
