Leeds United vs Queens Park Rangers - Chris Wood and Luke Ayling boost Leeds for QPR test

Posted Friday, March 10, 2017 by PA

Leeds head coach Garry Monk has Chris Wood and Luke Ayling available again for his side's home clash with QPR.

Wood, who has scored 25 goals this season, was forced to miss Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Fulham with a calf injury, but has returned to training.

Ayling missed the midweek trip to London, where Leeds conceded a last-gasp equaliser, due to the birth of his daughter.

Kalvin Phillips serves the first game of a two-match ban following his red card at Craven Cottage, his second of the season.

QPR will have forward Jamie Mackie and defender Joel Lynch available again after they were rested for the midweek win over Barnsley.

Midfielder Kazenga LuaLua remains sidelined by an ankle problem and Jordan Cousins (thigh) has also been out, but otherwise manager Ian Holloway has no fresh injury concerns.

Holloway made five changes for the Barnsley game, with the likes of Idrissa Sylla and Yeni Ngbakoto coming into the attack.

Conor Washington, Ravel Morrison and Matt Smith are all options, having been on among the substitutes on Tuesday night.
