Peterborough United vs Oxford United - Baldwin back for Oxford clash

Posted Friday, March 10, 2017 by PA

Peterborough have Jack Baldwin available and some undisclosed injury doubts for Saturday's Sky Bet League One clash with Oxford.

Baldwin served a two-match ban following his red card against Rochdale.

Midfielder Gwion Edwards has been ruled out for eight weeks due to a knee ligament injury and Jermaine Anderson (knee) is out for the season.

Lee Angol, meanwhile, has joined Vanarama National side Lincoln on loan until the end of the season.

Defender Charlie Raglan is Oxford's only injury doubt for the trip.

The centre-back was an unused substitute during their 3-2 defeat against Sheffield United on Tuesday due to a thigh injury before the game and will be assessed ahead of the clash.

Kane Hemmings, Rob Hall, Curtis Nelson and Chris Maguire were all risked during their game in midweek but the quartet should be fit to feature on Saturday.

Christian Ribeiro and Sam Long continue their recovery from injury after featuring for the U's development side on Wednesday.
