Man United star Wayne Rooney was just one of the many footballers at the big fight in England on Saturday night.

Everton fan Tony Bellew beat David Haye after 11 rounds in the boxing.

After the fight, Rooney hung out with Bellow in his locker room, and the conversation was interesting.

Rooney talks up his Everton roots

Rooney, who is expected to leave Man United in the summer, has been linked with a return to Everton.

In the locker next to Bellew, Rooney explained how he was “buzzing” that his good mate won the fight, while referencing his Evertonian roots.

Rooney also appear to reveal how Bellow helped out his Man United team mate Marouane Fellaini, plus Man City old boy Sylvain Distin, get tickets to the event.
