Bayern Munich Were On Form Yet Again On Twitter

Bayern Munich have been the kings of football in Germany for a good few years now and they are also brilliant value on social media.
Much like on the pitch, the club's English-speaking account show no mercy to opposition teams.
Arsenal can vouch for that as they were brutally trolled before and after the 5-1 defeat at the Allianz Arena.
The Bundesliga champions of course swept the Gunners aside by the same scoreline during last season's group stage and Bayern's official English twitter account decided it'd be a laugh to remind Arsenal of this fact while cheekily suggesting more of the same for next year's campaign.

The savagery of the tweet was not lost on Bayern's followers...

But Arsenal aren't the only team to feel the wrath of Bayern on Twitter.
The Bavarians take on Cologne this weekend and their opponents put a tweet out highlighting a famous win over Bayern.
But the Bundesliga champions were quick to point out that they had emerged victorious in the last three meetings and produced one of the greatest gifs you will ever see.
They opted for a clip of a dog, with its eyes nearly popping out of its head, doing its best impression of Raven Baxter 'having a vision' accompanied by flashback snippets of the damage they inflicted on Cologne in their recent visits.
Top banter indeed.
Selective memory, @fckoeln_en? How about a #FlashbackFriday for the three games in Cologne since then? 😉 #KOEFCB pic.twitter.com/IlpA3Xx7Nt
