Scunthorpe United vs Fleetwood Town - Sam Mantom ruled out of Fleetwood clash

Posted Friday, March 03, 2017 by PA

Scunthorpe will be without midfielder Sam Mantom for the Sky Bet League One clash against Fleetwood on Saturday.

Mantom missed Tuesday's defeat at AFC Wimbledon with a knock and has again been ruled out.

Midfielder Levi Sutton is available after sitting out the midweek clash as a precaution.

Manager Graham Alexander has no new injury concerns but has admitted defenders Jordan Clarke and Conor Townsend, who both played on Tuesday, are not fully match fit.

Fleetwood midfielders Kyle Dempsey and George Glendon are both doubts after being forced off with knocks against Northampton last weekend.

Striker Wes Burns has missed the last four matches with a leg injury and remains doubtful.

Defender Nathan Pond (knee) and Martyn Woolford (knee) are still out.

Midfielder Jimmy Ryan is unlikely to feature again this season because of a foot problem.
