Newport County vs Leyton Orient - Double boost for struggling Newport ahead of relegation scrap

Newport expect to welcome back David Pipe and Josh Sheehan for the Sky Bet League Two basement clash with Leyton Orient.

Defender Pipe and midfielder Sheehan both missed the 2-1 defeat at Mansfield last weekend through illness.

Midfielders Joss Labadie and Sean Rigg should feature after knocks and defender Sid Nelson (hamstring) could also return.

But Michael Flynn (hamstring) misses out, as does Mark O'Brien and on-loan West Ham forward Jaanai Gordon who is suspended after being sent off at Mansfield.

Orient defenders Aron Pollock, Tom Parkes and Yvan Erichot are all ruled out through injury.

Midfielder Robbie Weir is also absent with an Achilles injury.

Fellow midfielder Liam Kelly continues to serve his six-game ban while striker Victor Adeboyejo is pushing for a start.

On-loan striker Rowan Liburd will return to the matchday squad after being unavailable to play against his parent club Stevenage last time out.
