Portsmouth v Morecambe

Posted Tuesday, February 28, 2017 by PA

Promotion-chasing Portsmouth have no fresh injury worries for Morecambe's Sky Bet League Two trip to Fratton Park.

Curtis Main remains the only absentee with a long-term knee injury which has kept him out since the end of October.

Pompey moved to within three points of the automatic promotion places by winning 3-0 at Carlisle on Saturday.

Jake Whatmough and Conor Chaplin are both pushing for starting spots after impressing when Portsmouth changed to a 3-5-2 formation at Brunton Park with the game goalless.

Morecambe are boosted by the return of captain Peter Murphy who completed his three-match suspension during Saturday's win over Grimsby.

Boss Jim Bentley is still without another midfielder, Alex Kenyon, who is continuing his recovery following knee surgery earlier this month.

Bentley has limited options at his disposal, but Aaron Wildig and Rhys Turner are options should he wish to re-shuffle his starting line-up.

Saturday's win stretched Morecambe's recent record to just one loss in their last 10 games and moved them to within just five points of a play-off place.
