Crawley Town vs Exeter City - Grecians could feel the Payne in Crawley

Crawley's Josh Payne is in contention to start against Exeter after his weekend winner at Wycombe.

Payne produced a stunning free-kick after emerging as a substitute on Saturday to hand Crawley only their second win in seven games.

Kenya international Josh Lelan could miss the Sky Bet League Two clash after limping off inside the first 20 minutes at Wycombe.

Lewis Young is set to replace Lelan with Jordan Roberts continuing to nurse a knee injury.

Exeter are set to be without striker Robbie Simpson for the rest of the season.

The 31-year-old suffered a suspected broken ankle in Saturday's 2-2 home draw with Blackpool.

Simpson's injury could see Ryan Swan feature for the first time after the 20-year-old Irishman joined the Grecians on a short-term contract last week.

But Reuben Reid and Ollie Watkins are set to resume their forward partnership from the start after both players scored against Blackpool having come off the bench.
