Ipswich vs Leeds United - Luke Chambers touch-and-go before Leeds clash
Posted Friday, February 17, 2017 by PA
Ipswich will assess captain Luke Chambers, who has a cracked rib, ahead of the visit of Leeds.
Leading scorer Tom Lawrence starts a two-match suspension after collecting a 10th yellow card in the midweek draw at Brighton, while on loan midfielder Toumani Diagouraga is ineligible against Leeds.
Defender Christophe Berra was rested following concussion, while midfielder Cole Skuse (Achilles) is also available again and winger Danny Rowe (hip/groin) could be involved for the first time since signing from Macclesfield along with defender Tommy Smith, who has recovered from back surgery.
Midfielders Luke Hyam (knee), Jonny Williams (shoulder) and Giles Coke (knee) all continue their rehabilitations along with defenders Steven Taylor (hamstring), Adam Webster (ankle) and on-loan Reading forward Dominic Samuel (broken toe).
Leeds captain Liam Bridcutt is available after serving a one-match ban following his recent dismissal against Cardiff.
Head coach Garry Monk has no new injury or suspension worries and, apart from left-back Charlie Taylor, will choose from a full-strength squad.
Taylor, sidelined since mid-December with an Achilles injury, is set to return to training next week.
Midfielder Kalvin Phillips, and wingers Stuart Dallas and Alfonso Pedraza, are pushing for recalls as Leeds bid to consolidate their place in the top six.
