Walsall vs Peterborough United - Florent Cuvelier missing for Walsall
Posted Friday, February 17, 2017 by PA
Walsall will be without midfielder Florent Cuvelier for the visit of Peterborough due to a calf injury.
The Belgian limped off during Tuesday's 0-0 draw at Scunthorpe and he will have a scan to determine the severity of the problem, with the 24-year-old looking set to be sidelined for around three weeks at least.
Reece Flanagan is also out with a dislocated shoulder, having only just recovered from a serious knee injury which has kept him out for the whole of the season.
Amadou Bakayoko is pushing to start, after Simeon Jackson replaced him at Scunthorpe, along with Franck Moussa and Andreas Makris.
Peterborough manager Grant McCann has no fresh injury or suspension concerns for the trip to the Banks's Stadium.
The Posh still have a number of players on the sidelines including Michael Bostwick (broken jaw), Jermaine Anderson, Harry Anderson (both knee) and Chris Forrester (hamstring).
Jack Baldwin, who has been struggling with a knee injury, was an unused substitute in Tuesday's 2-1 win over Shrewsbury and is expected to be on the bench again.
Peterborough are currently eighth in the Sky Bet League One table, three points off the play-off places.
