Shrewsbury Town vs AFC Wimbledon - Humphrys suspended for Shrewsbury clash against AFC Wimbledon

Shrewsbury striker Stephen Humphrys is banned for the in-form hosts when they welcome AFC Wimbledon.

The on-loan Fulham forward received a second booking for failing to retreat at a free-kick in Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at Peterborough and must serve a one-match ban.

Captain Abu Ogogo missed the loss at London Road with a knee injury and is unlikely to be fit, with Mat Sadler set to captain the side again.

Boss Paul Hurst is optimistic that in-form Freddie Ladapo, who also missed the Posh trip with a tight hamstring will be available on Saturday.

AFC Wimbledon will be without captain Barry Fuller.

The 32-year-old ruptured his pectoral muscle in last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Charlton and the club confirmed on Wednesday that he will be out for around six weeks.

Fellow defender Will Nightingale played 75 minutes for the under-23s on Monday after recovering from a knee injury and could go straight into the squad while forward Tom Elliott is available after missing Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Coventry through suspension.

Jon Meades, Dean Parrett (both ankle) and Chris Whelpdale remain sidelined but manager Neal Ardley is confident they will be back in training next week.
