Leeds United 2 - 1 Bristol City: Leeds back to winning ways as they see off Bristol City
Posted Wednesday, February 15, 2017 by PA
Chris Wood and Pablo Hernandez were on target as Leeds responded to back-to-back Sky Bet Championship defeats with a 2-1 victory over Bristol City at Elland Road.
Hernandez's quick free-kick led to the opener from Wood, who scored for the 22nd time this season, before the playmaker's deflected effort doubled the hosts' advantage shortly after half-time.
City substitute Milan Djuric headed in a last-gasp consolation, but fifth-placed Leeds, having lost to Huddersfield and Cardiff, bounced back to consolidate their place in the play-off positions.
