Carlisle striker Jamie Proctor returns from suspension for the visit of Doncaster.

The loan signing from Bolton scored and then received a red card on his debut, missing Saturday's 4-1 home defeat to Blackpool.

Manager Keith Curle could choose to pair him with fellow new arrival George Waring, who made his first start at the weekend.

Defender Shaun Brisley and midfielder Mike Jones are in contention for recalls but Jason Kennedy and Danny Grainger are sidelined.

Doncaster skipper James Coppinger is expected to return to contention after missing out at Newport on Friday night.

Coppinger missed the goalless draw in Wales due to a heel problem but will be available for selection.

Defender Mathieu Baudry was rested at Newport and is hoping to shake off a knock, while striker John Marquis will be monitored after requiring stitches in a deep cut.

Striker Liam Mandeville (ankle) is still out and the game will come too soon for long-term absentees Gary McSheffrey (groin) and Aaron Taylor-Sinclair (knee), who have both returned to training.
