Colchester United vs Crawley Town - Colchester hit with double injury blow ahead of Crawley clash
Posted Monday, February 13, 2017 by PA
Colchester will be without Frankie Kent and Lloyd Doyley when they face Crawley on Tuesday night.
Both defenders were forced off in the first half of Colchester's 2-1 win over Barnet on Saturday due to injury, and their replacements Alex Wynter and Matt Briggs are expected to start.
Sean Murray will sit out the second game of a three-match ban.
Doug Loft (Achilles), Sammie Szmodics (ankle) and Luke Prosser (knee) all remain sidelined.
Crawley are without defender Joe McNerney.
The 27-year-old was injured in the warm-up before their 2-1 defeat to Luton on Saturday and will not be available.
Lewis Young, who was a late replacement for McNerney, is expected to keep his place in the starting line-up.
Matt Harrold (Achilles) is Crawley's only long-term absentee.
