Morecambe vs Barnet - Morecambe hoping to have Fleming and Winnard available after illness
Posted Monday, February 13, 2017 by PA
Morecambe hope to have Andrew Fleming and Dean Winnard back in contention for Tuesday's Sky Bet League Two home clash with Barnet.
Midfielder Fleming and defender Winnard were both unavailable due to illness when the Shrimps beat Cambridge 2-0 at the Globe Arena on Saturday.
With no injuries being sustained in that game and nobody suspended, boss Jim Bentley could have a full complement of players to choose from.
The result on Saturday, a second successive win, extended Morecambe's unbeaten start to 2017 to six matches.
Barnet midfielder Jamal Campbell-Ryce could start for the Bees.
The 33-year-old replaced January signing Luke Coulson at half-time during Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Colchester and may be handed a starting berth as Barnet look to end their five-game winless run.
Meanwhile, striker Simeon Akinola serves the final game of his three-match ban while midfielder Jack Taylor remains sidelined through injury.
Michael Gash (knee) and Shaun Batt (hamstring) are out for the season but Jamie Stephens (calf) and James Pearson (knee) are expected to return to action sooner.
