Fleetwood Town vs Rochdale - Fleetwood could be missing usual suspects for date with Dale

Promotion-chasing Fleetwood may have to deal with some ongoing absences as they seek to get back to winning ways against Rochdale.

Cameron Brannagan came on as a second-half substitute at Charlton and is in the reckoning for his first start since making his loan move from Liverpool.

But Nathan Pond (knee), Jimmy Ryan (foot) and Martyn Woolford (knee) all sat out the 1-1 draw at The Valley and may remain on the sidelines.

Uwe Rosler's men will be hoping for smoother passage to and from this home fixture, after the club coach had its wing mirrors snapped off as it began its journey back from London last week.

Rochdale look set to have the same squad as in their last outing, the goalless Sky Bet League One draw with Bristol Rovers on Saturday that halted a run of three straight defeats in all competitions.

No fresh injuries emerged from that contest, but several players remain sidelined.

Josh Lillis and Matty Lund are out following knee operations while Calvin Andrew is nursing a cheekbone problem.

Joe Bunney (metatarsal fracture), Steven Davies (knee) and Joe Thompson (back) are also still unavailable.
