Aston Villa without suspended Jack Grealish for Ipswich fixture

Jack Grealish is suspended for Aston Villa as he serves his one-game ban against Ipswich.

The midfielder was dismissed after collecting two yellow cards in last week's 2-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest.

Albert Adomah could replace him in the starting line up after coming on as a late substitute in the loss at the City Ground.

Boss Steve Bruce has no fresh injury worries but Gabby Agbonlahor remains out after tearing his hamstring last week, and is not expected back for a number of weeks.

Ipswich expect to have midfielder Cole Skuse available following an Achilles problem.

Leading scorer Tom Lawrence (foot) and centre-back Christophe Berra (Achilles) have shrugged off minor worries, while captain Luke Chambers is also set to travel after missing training earlier in the week.

Full-back Myles Kenlock should also be involved, having not featured since January 2 because of a calf injury, along with on-loan forward Dominic Samuel, who could not play at parent club Reading last weekend.

Defender Tommy Smith is stepping up his match fitness following a return from back surgery as is recent signing winger Danny Rowe (hip/groin). Midfielders Jonny Williams (shoulder), Luke Hyam and Giles Coke (both back) also continue their recovery.
