Leyton Orient vs Morecambe - Liam Kelly could return to action

Posted Tuesday, February 07, 2017 by PA

Midfielder Liam Kelly could be in contention for Sky Bet League Two strugglers Leyton Orient against Morecambe.

Kelly, who has been out since the start of October with a torn hamstring, was an unused substitute for Saturday's home defeat by Carlisle.

New boss Danny Webb put Rowan Liburd straight into the starting XI against Carlisle and could again hand the on-loan Stevenage forward another chance to impress.

Top-scorer Paul McCallum, though, remains sidelined by a knee problem.

Morecambe are without suspended midfielder Andrew Fleming.

Fleming will sit out again as he completes a three-match ban following a red card in the win over Notts County at the start of January.

Morecambe have off-field problems but recent results have been encouraging.

The 17th-place Shrimps drew 1-1 away against both leaders Doncaster and third-place Carlisle after thrashing Notts County 4-1 at home.
