Blackburn Rovers vs QPR - Marvin Emnes in contention for second Blackburn debut

Blackburn manager Owen Coyle could hand a second debut to Marvin Emnes in the Sky Bet Championship clash with QPR.

The Swansea winger rejoined Rovers on loan on deadline day and could feature having sat out the 2-1 loss to Leeds.

Fellow new arrival Lucas Joao came off the bench in the defeat and will be pushing for a first start, while Tommy Hoban will be hoping to be in contention after a shoulder injury.

Midfielder Hope Akpan missed the Leeds game after being forced off with a knock in the FA Cup win over Blackpool but should be fit.

QPR can add deadline-day signings Matt Smith and Ravel Morrison to their squad.

Striker Smith arrived from west London rivals Fulham for an undisclosed fee, while midfielder Morrison is back at Loftus Road on loan from Lazio.

Smith could be handed an immediate debut but former Manchester United starlet Morrison may be held back to build up his match fitness.

Defender Jack Robinson is still working his way back after a hamstring problem.
