Charlton Athletic vs Fleetwood Town - Jorge Teixeira returns from suspension for Charlton's clash with Fleetwood

Posted Thursday, February 02, 2017 by PA

Charlton will have Jorge Teixeira available when they host Fleetwood as he returns from a one-match ban.

The defender's return, however, comes as Lewis Page begins a two-match ban after he was sent off in the 2-1 win at Bolton.

Last week's victory means manager Karl Robinson is likely to retain much of the team that started.

Johnnie Jackson and Lee Novak appeared as substitutes and are expected to again be named on the bench.

Fleetwood head coach Uwe Rosler has a few changes to contend with after a number of ins and outs at the club.

On-loan striker Chris Long had his stay cut short to join promotion rivals Bolton while midfielder Eggert Jonsson left for Danish club Sonderjyske and defender Michael Duckworth joined Morecambe on loan.

Young Liverpool midfielder Cameron Brannagan is set for his first involvement, having joined on loan last Friday.

Nathan Pond (knee), Jimmy Ryan (foot) and Martyn Woolford (knee) are still missing.
