Walsall vs Northampton Town - Walsall may be unchanged for third-straight game as they host Northampton

Walsall could be unchanged for a third-straight game as they look to build on their unbeaten run in League One.

The Saddlers are unbeaten in their last four games following a 0-0 draw at Millwall on Wednesday.

Wolves loanee Will Randall joined on transfer deadline day and made his debut as a late substitute at The Den.

Reece Flanagan continues to recover from a long-term knee injury and the game is likely to come too soon for the midfielder.

Northampton will check on the fitness of defender Gabriel Zakuani who is currently being assessed ahead of the match.

Zakuani returned to Sixfields on Thursday after DR Congo's exit from the African Cup of Nations last weekend and Saturday's encounter may be too soon for the 30-year-old.

The Cobblers will definitely be without injured trio Alex Revell (calf), Sam Hoskins (knee) and Brendan Moloney (knee) - although Moloney is closing in on a return.

New loan signing Michael Smith could make his first start after joining the club from Portsmouth on Wednesday.
