Mario Balotelli took to Twitter to question his treatment at the hands of some sections of Bastia's support during Nice's 1-1 draw last night.
The former Man City and Liverpool striker player the entire 90 minutes as Nice went back above Monaco at the top of Ligue 1.
But this morning he took to Twitter to reveal that he was the subject of racist abuse from some Bastia fans during the game.
Balotelli wrote: "Yesterday the result against Bastia was right… we will work more and try to get our objective.
"The referee was good too. But I have one question for the French people.
"Is it normal that Bastia supporters make monkey noises… for the whole game?
"Football is an amazing sport… those people like Bastia supporters make it horrible."
It's a shame that there are still a minority of idiots who think it's acceptable to carry on like that at football matches.
Balotelli has been looking more like his former self in France, scoring ten goals in fifteen appearances in all competitions.
But he's also been dogged by discipline issues, picking up eight booking and two red cards in the same amount of time.
However, regardless of his on-field scraps, it's disgraceful that Balotelli still has to deal with this type of incident.
