Arsene Wenger reveals the truth on Mesut Ozil’s future
ARSENE WENGER says Mesut Ozil isn't waiting for the manager to sign a new deal before committing his future to Arsenal.

Arsenal and Mesut Ozil are at an impasse in contract negotiations
The midfielder only has 18 months left on his contract and the Gunners are hoping to keep the German ace in the building past next season.
But so far negotiations have reached a stalemate.
Things became more complicated last week when Ozil seemed to hint that he was waiting for Wenger to decide on his own long-term future before signing a new deal.

But Wenger thinks the comments were overblown.
"I think he has been misinterpreted,” he said. “He would like to know what happens on the managerial front of course, but I don’t think that’s the main part of his decision.
"I think it’s part of it but it’s not the only thing. There are many other ingredients in every negotiation. Hopefully we will find a conclusion with him very quickly.
"We always speak. I speak more with his agent on that front, about contracts, than I do with him.
"We do not master that situation alone. Let’s not forget that all these players have 18 months to go. That’s a very long time in football.
Mesut Ozil has divided opinion at Arsenal in recent weeks
Wenger added that he's yet to make up his mind on his own future.
"I have nothing to add to that at the moment,” he said.
"I am completely focused on us getting back to the top and to work very hard in every single game and prepare well.”
