The ex-Everton player's deal was due to expire at the end of the current season, but the Red Devils will keep him on for at least another 12 months
Manchester United have triggered a one-year contract extension for midfielder Marouane Fellaini, according to BBC Sport.
The former Everton man has been at Old Trafford since 2013, when he signed a four year deal with an option for another 12 months.
And despite some high-profile errors he has convinced manager Jose Mourinho, who made the decision to keep Fellaini at the club until at least 2018.
