Manchester United have begun negotiating a deal for Antoine Griezmann and have offered an incredible £220,000-a-week contract to lure him to Old Trafford, according to the Sun.
The report suggests that Jose Mourinho's side have opened talks with the Atletico Madrid star's representatives and promised they will match Paul Pogba's wages at the club.
Griezmann has publicly spoken of his admiration for United and Mourinho in past interviews, with the 25-year-old having been strongly linked with a switch to the Red Devils.
And the Sun now claims that Mourinho has stepped up his efforts to land the Frenchman, with Atleti seemingly demanding the Premier League club meet his £86 million release clause.
