Chelsea boss Conte: Strong Spurs can fight for title…

Chelsea's Antonio Conte insists Tottenham Hotspur are a genuine title contender.

Conte saw his side's 13-game winning streak ended by Spurs at White Hart Lane after Dele Alli headed home twice.

The Blues manager admitted he knew this result was coming while applauding Mauricio Pochettino's team for showing plenty of fight.

"We knew that this could happen, and before then, but I think today I saw a game with a good balance," he said.

"They scored a goal at the end of the first half and they scored the second in our best moment.

"It's a pity to stop this run but Tottenham is a good team, a really strong team. I think Tottenham is one of the teams that can fight for the title until the end.

"They fought last season and for sure Tottenham they can also fight this year."
