Arsenal fan BEGS Gunners to sack Arsene Wenger despite stunning comeback against Cherries

ARSENAL came from behind to secure a 3-3 draw against 10-man Bournemouth tonight – but the turnaround wasn’t enough for one fan.

The home side found themselves 2-0 ahead early on, thanks to goals form Charlie Daniels and Callum Wilson.

And they added yet more misery to the Gunners when Simon Francis scored early in the second half.

But two goals in quick succession from Alexis Sanchez and Lucas Perez shifted momentum and – after the Cherries’ Simon Francis was sent off late on – an injury time equaliser from Olivier Giroud sealed the comeback.

Despite gaining an unlikely point, the performance from Arsenal left fan Curtis furious – and he placed the blame solely on manager Arsene Wenger.

Speaking on talkSPORT’s Sport’s Bar, he said: “Years gone by, I was giving Wenger the chance but we’ve got the stadium paid off, the funds are available and you’ve got the team – where are you going?

"When I found out Liverpool got [Jurgen] Klopp I was devastated because I would love to see him at Arsenal.

"I’d love to see the Juventus manager at Arsenal and I would love to see [Diego] Simeone at Arsenal.

"There are managers out there and in times gone by there weren’t.

Alexis Sanchez was on the scoresheet once again for the Gunners

"I’m at a time now where surely Wenger has to move on."

Curtis was then asked by host Andy Goldstein whether he would welcome the Frenchman being sacked.

"Yes, I would like to see Wenger gone.”
