Crystal Palace are worse under Sam Allardyce than Alan Pardew, claims Eagles fan

CRYSTAL Palace were the unenviable holders of the worst league record in 2016 when Alan Pardew was given the boot last month.
Chairman Steve Parish made the decision to let Pardew go after the Eagles had won just six of their 36 matches in 2016, picking up just 26 points last calendar year.
Survival specialist Sam Allardyce was promptly appointed to help stop the bleeding – although Palace have since lost their next two games against Arsenal and Swansea City.
Their dismal form prompted one fan to call the BBC’s 606 to question whether Big Sam’s appointment had helped or hindered the team.
"I think they’re playing worse than they were under Pardew,” Palace supporter Ian said.

"If you saw the first half tonight, I mean god knows what they were doing. Okay they improved in the second half but phwoar.
"I think Sam’s come in and I think he’s tried to change things too quickly.
"I think he just needed to fine tune what was there and he’s tried to change it completely.
"I don’t think the players quite know what to do.”
Big Sam was appointed on a two-year deal to replace Alan Pardew
Newly appointed Swansea boss Paul Clement picked up three vital points thanks to a late goal from unlikely scorer Angel Rangel at Selhurst Park tonight.
The Spanish defender latched on to Leroy Fer’s through ball to smash home a dramatic winner in the 88th minute, giving the Swans a 2-1 victory.
The result lifts Swansea off the foot of the table at the expense of managerless Hull.
