Millwall vs Swindon - Millwall in fine fettle before Swindon encounter

Posted Friday, December 23, 2016 by PA

Millwall boss Neil Harris has plenty of options for the visit of Swindon.

Harris named a strong side for the midweek clash with Charlton and was rewarded with a 3-1 victory which took them to 10th in Sky Bet League One, four points outside the play-offs.

Steve Morison made a successful return to the starting line-up following injury, marking his first start since November 4 with two goals against the Addicks, while Byron Webster was restored to the centre of defence.

Sid Nelson and Joe Martin both failed to make the midweek squad and could be brought back in by Harris.

Forward Jon Obika is in contention for Swindon as they travel to the Den on Boxing Day.

The 26-year-old missed the 1-1 draw with Fleetwood last weekend due to a "niggle" and manager Luke Williams believes he will be fit enough to be included on Monday.

James Brophy (hamstirng) is still on the sidelines but has started working in the gym and is expected to rejoin training soon.

Nathan Thompson (hamstring) and Jamie Sendles-White (cruciate ligament damage) are the Robins only long-term absentees.
