Aston Villa vs Burton - Steve Bruce may to ring the changes for Aston Villa against Burton

Aston Villa's line-up could be much-changed for Monday's Boxing Day clash with Burton.

Boss Steve Bruce made six changes for the win at QPR, but has indicated he could make further alterations to his starting XI.

Mark Bunn, Nathan Baker, Gary Gardner, Ross McCormack, Leandro Bacuna and Albert Adomah all came in at Loftus Road.

But with Bruce seeking to keep his squad fresh over the busy festive period he could make further changes.

Stuart Beavon will be back in the Burton squad following a month-long absence with a dead leg.

The forward's return could be a timely one, with Will Miller nursing a slight knock on his knee and Jamie Ward starting on the bench against Newcastle last weekend after feeling his hamstring again.

Midfielders Hamza Choudhury (back) and Lee Williamson (dead leg) also have minor complaints but Burton boss Nigel Clough is hopeful of having his entire squad fit and ready to go at Villa Park.

Central defender Ben Turner will be part of the travelling party now that he is available against after a two-match ban.
