Barnsley vs Blackburn - Defender Aidy White may be back for Barnsley against Blackburn after injury

Barnsley defender Aidy White could return to the squad for the home game against Blackburn.

Left-sided player White, who has been sidelined since mid-September due to a gluteal problem, featured for the under-23s this week and may be in contention.

Head coach Paul Heckingbottom has no new injury or suspension worries, but winger Adam Hammill sits out the second game of a three-match ban.

Striker Adam Armstrong (knee) and centre-half Adam Jackson (hamstring) will be monitored and Sessi D'Almeida (knee) is still out as the Reds bid for a fourth win in five league games.

Charlie Mulgrew and Corry Evans are expected to be fit for the trip to south Yorkshire following injuries.

Mulgrew, who has missed two games with a groin problem, could come straight into the starting XI after Jason Lowe picked up his 10th booking of the season at Reading and will serve a one-match suspension.

Evans is another candidate for the spot having missed the defeat with a similar issue, while Gordon Greer is available having served a ban of his own.

Owen Coyle remains without the services of Danny Guthrie, Elliott Ward, Adam Henley and Tommie Hoban, while Craig Conway will skipper the side in Lowe's absence.
