Noble confident of Payet stay

West Ham captain Mark Noble says he is confident the club will retain star forward Dimitri Payet beyond the January transfer window.
Payet has been linked with a move away from the Hammers after their sudden fall from early Champions league contenders to a relegation scrap going into the festive period.
The France international was arguably one of the best players in the Premier League in his debut season, but has struggled to replicate that form in a below-par team this term.
Nonetheless, Noble feels that Payet will remain at the club as it would take a massive bid for them to consider letting go of their most prized asset.
"You never know what happens in football. I'm pretty sure Dimi [Payet] doesn't want to come out and say too much," he told Sky Sports News.
"I would be shocked to see him go before the end of January. I'm pretty sure it would have to be a healthy bid to get him away from us.
"Can we afford to lose him? No, not really, because he is one of the best players in the world at the minute."
