Real Madrid's transfer ban has been reduced
Can sign players next summer

The transfer ban imposed on Real Madrid by FIFA is to be reduced, according to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Both Los Blancos and their city rivals were banned for two transfer windows from registering new players as a result of breaching rules in relation to the signing of minors.
That ban was suspended last summer as the result of an appeal and although it was upheld by world football's governing body last September, Real Madrid lodged an appeal with the CAS, which is set to see the ban pass next summer.
"The Court of Arbitration for Sport announced that Real Madrid's appeal against FIFA's penalty of banning the registration of players during two transfer windows will be reduced to only one, corresponding to the January 2017 transfer window," read a Real Madrid statement.
Real Madrid also went on to criticise the injustice of the ban and lamented the fact that it was not reduced in its entirety.
