Spalletti could leave Roma

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti says that if his side fail to clinch the Serie A title he will resign, although the club's CEO has stated the Italian's future is in his own hands.
The 57-year-old is currently serving in his second stint at Stadio Olimpico following his initial four-year spell which came to an end in 2009.
The Giallorossi are in second position, but are seven points behind leaders Juventus following their 1-0 loss against the defending champions on Saturday.
Despite Spalletti publicising his comments via an interview, Roma CEO Umberto Gandini leapt forward in defence of the manager, saying he has done everything to earn a new contract in Rome.
"Spalletti's future? It's in his hands," Gandini told Sky Sport Italia. "He's doing everything possible to earn a renewal, judging by results.
"We'll be ready to sit down [for contract negotiations] whenever he wants. We hope to reach our objectives. The KO in Turin doesn't detract us from our path.
"Yes, there's a degree of bitterness and disappointment, however, we've shown the ability to compete. In any case, our path is in line with expectations."
