Northampton Town vs Rochdale - John-Joe O'Toole back for Northampton
Posted Friday, December 16, 2016 by PA
Northampton welcome back midfielder John-Joe O'Toole for Saturday's home game against Rochdale after serving a two-match ban.
O'Toole missed their FA Cup second-round defeat at Stourbridge and win at Port Vale after picking up his 10th booking of the campaign but will return against Dale.
Midfielder Alfie Potter picked up a knock last week but he's back in training and will be fit and available for Saturday.
Zander Diamond (fractured cheekbone), JJ Hooper (thigh) and Brendan Moloney (knee) are all absent through their respective injuries.
Calvin Andrew will hope to have played himself into the Rochdale side after his goal-scoring return last weekend.
The striker played his first match after a nine-game ban as a substitute and netted Dale's third goal in their 3-2 victory over Scunthorpe.
Andy Cannon made his comeback from a hamstring problem off the bench in the same game and will be another challenging for a starting role.
Peter Vincenti and Brian Barry-Murphy remain sidelined.
