Chesterfield vs Bolton Wanderers - Jon Nolan unavailable again as Chesterfield host Bolton

Chesterfield manager Danny Wilson will once again be without midfielder Jon Nolan for Saturday's League One clash with Bolton.

Nolan serves the second game of a three-match ban following his dismissal during the 5-0 FA Cup second-round defeat by Wycombe on December 3.

Keeper Tommy Lee (shoulder) and Dan Jones (foot) will also be unavailable through injury, while fellow defender Paul McGinn (hamstring) and midfielders Dan Gardner (also hamstring) and Reece Mitchell (groin) are all doubts and will be assessed before the team is named.

However, defender Sam Hird and striker Conor Wilkinson both played in Tuesday's 8-0 DCFA Senior Challenge Cup victory over Aston United after hernia surgery and a knee problem respectively and could return to contention.

Bolton will likely be unchanged from the side that defeated Gillingham 4-0 on Monday.

Phil Parkinson named the same line-up for that game following the 3-2 FA Cup win over Sheffield United and a run of five straight victories means he has little reason to shuffle his pack.

He will have more options soon with captain Darren Pratley (broken leg) nearing a return, though he did not feature for the under-23s in midweek, a contest he had been originally pencilled in for.

Wanderers are already without Mark Howard (thumb), Mark Davies (knee) and Liam Trotter (groin).
