Blackpool vs Luton Town - Colin Doyle in contention for Blackpool return against Luton

Blackpool's Colin Daniel has returned to training ahead of the clash with Luton at Bloomfield Road.

The midfielder is yet to feature this month because of a hamstring problem but trained on Thursday, as did striker Armand Gnanduillet (knock), though the Seasiders have won their last four games in all competitions so Daniel will likely have to bide his time.

Boss Gary Bowyer reported no other injuries for his seventh-placed team, who will hope to remain in the play-off places at Christmas.

Michael Cain has missed time his week because of illness, yet the Leicester loanee has barely featured in the league anyway.

Luton may be without defender Alan Sheehan for the clash.

The former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international suffered an injury scare during their draw at Carlisle and was forced off just after the hour mark. He will be assessed before the game.

Dan Potts is set to deputise for Sheehan, while Scott Cuthbert will retain his place in the side after signing a new contract extension as the Hatters search for their first win in four games.

Danny Green (leg) and Nathan Doyle (Achilles) remain sidelined.
