Morecambe vs Cheltenham Town - Cole Stockton could return for Morecambe

Morecambe will hope to have Cole Stockton available for the Sky Bet League Two clash with Cheltenham.

The striker missed last week's abandoned clash against Newport with a knee problem and will be assessed.

The game at Rodney Parade was abandoned at half-time because of a waterlogged pitch, meaning Kevin Ellison's one-match suspension is carried over to this weekend.

Alex Whitmore is also banned but Alex Kenyon returned to the starting line-up against Newport following two months on the sidelines, while Andy Fleming was on the bench after injury.

Cheltenham manager Gary Johnson is expected to make changes to his team as he bids to end a run of four straight defeats.

He is, however, still without the injured Dan Holman, who has been ruled out until January with an ankle injury.

Asa Hall is another expected to miss out due to an Achilles injury.

Goalkeeper Russ Griffiths is expected to retain his place despite conceding 11 goals during those past four games.
