Cardiff City vs Wolves - Sol Bamba banned for Cardiff's crucial game against Wolves

Cardiff boss Neil Warnock begins life without Sol Bamba in Tuesday night's crucial Sky Bet Championship relegation battle against Wolves in south Wales.

Bamba has been banned for two games following his spectacular sending-off against Ipswich on Saturday - but could face longer on the sidelines after confronting both the referee and Warnock.

Defender Bruno Manga is set to be handed his first start since October in place of Bamba, while Craig Noone could replace the out-of-form Kadeem Harris.

Rickie Lambert is expected to be rested and Marouane Chamakh is still out meaning a start for either Frederic Gounongbe or Anthony Pilkington.

Wolves boss Paul Lambert has indicated he would have no concerns about keeping faith in 19-year-old goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne for the crucial showdown.

Burgoyne made his debut in Saturday's thrilling 4-4 draw against Fulham after Andy Lonergan joined Carl Ikeme on the injured list.

Ikeme, who has been out with a hip injury, has a chance to return but if he fails a fitness test Burgoyne will once again start in goal.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson is pushing for a start after playing for the final half-hour on Saturday in place of Romain Saiss.
