Preston North End vs Blackburn Rovers - Banned duo begin three-game suspensions

Preston will be without suspended strikers Jermaine Beckford and Eoin Doyle for Saturday's Sky Bet Championship home clash with Blackburn.

The pair begin three-match bans having been sent off after fighting between themselves towards the end of the 2-1 loss at Sheffield Wednesday last weekend.

Paul Gallagher may have a have a chance of returning from his calf injury, while it looks unlikely fellow midfielder John Welsh will be back from his.

It also appears the game will be too soon for Stevie May (knee) to make his comeback.

Blackburn have Ben Marshall back available for the contest.

The versatile Marshall was suspended for last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Huddersfield having collected five yellow cards this season.

Otherwise, boss Owen Coyle looks set to have the same squad as for that match.

Adam Henley (hamstring), Tommie Hoban (shoulder) and Elliott Ward (ankle) remain out.
