Millwall vs Shrewsbury Town - Steve Morison still missing for Millwall

Posted Thursday, December 08, 2016 by PA

Millwall are still without Steve Morison for the visit of Shrewsbury.

Striker Morison has been sidelined since the start of November with a knee injury and is still a couple of weeks away.

Defender Shaun Hutchinson is close to returning, however, having resumed training following a hamstring problem.

Skipper Tony Craig is set to return to the back four after starting on the bench in the FA Cup win over Braintree last weekend.

Shrewsbury have midfielder Abu Ogogo available again after suspension but AJ Leitch-Smith (knee) remains a concern.

Leitch-Smith has damaged ligaments but it is hoped the striker will return to contention after being absent last weekend.

Full-back Joe Riley is due to resume training after undergoing knee surgery while midfielder Shaun Whalley (thigh) is also on the road to recovery, although the trip to The Den will come too soon for both players.

Ethan Jones is fit again and an option for Shrews boss Paul Hurst along with Ollie Lancashire, Jack Grimmer and George Waring.
