Bayern, PSG and Manchester City avoided by Real Madrid and Sevilla
Plenty to fear in both last-16 pots

On Monday, December 12, one of the most tense and daunting first knockout round draws in Champions League history will take place with Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Sevilla, and Manchester City all in Pot 2.
LaLiga is the only division to see all their four teams progress to the last-16 although only Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have won their group.
The chances of the Blaugrana coming up against Carlo Ancelotti's Bayern, Diego Simeone drawing Manchester City, or either getting Paris Saint-Germain, is rather higher than they'd like.
Real Madrid's potential opponents
As countrymen and group opponents are ruled out, just five teams could come up against Zinedine Zidane's side in the next round; Arsenal, Napoli, Juventus, Leicester City, and Monaco. Perhaps Los Blancos won't be so disenchanted by Borussia Dortmund's late equaliser, after all. However, they will be away in the second leg.
Barcelona's potential opponents
There's no doubt that Bayern Munich and PSG are wavering slightly this season but neither are enticing draws at this stage, with Portuguese duo Benfica and Porto also a possibility along with Bayer Leverkusen.
Atletico Madrid's potential opponents
As with the Azulgrana, it's PSG most feared by Los Colchoneros, aside from Pep Guardiola's City, of course. Atleti did it the hard way last season and will be favouring a trip to Porto, Benfica, or Bayer Leverkusen this time around.
Sevilla's potential opponents
With dodgy away form, the Andalusians won't favour going to the fortresses of Monaco, Napoli, Arsenal, or Dortmund in the next round, but they might take a chance on facing Premier League champions Leicester.
