Dynamo Kyiv vs Besiktas JK - Rebrov aiming to end poor Champions League campaign

Dynamo Kiev head coach Sergei Rebrov says his side are playing for the "honour of Ukraine" against Besiktas.

Dynamo are destined to finish bottom of Group B following a hugely disappointing Champions League campaign.

But former Tottenham striker Rebrov is determine to sign off from Europe on a high note.

"We've had a bad Champions League campaign, but got great experience," he told UEFA.com.

"We'll play for the honour of Dynamo and Ukraine. Every player must demonstrate his willingness to perform for our club.

"I guess the final score will be important in this game from a psychological point of view.

"Our results are unsatisfactory, but we've got great experience. Our players didn't use a lot of chances and made some mistakes in terms of defence."

Dynamo had nine academy graduates in their starting line-up for their goalless draw against Napoli last time out, and Rebrov sees hope for the future.

"I know it's a promising way," he added.

"Considering the situation in Ukrainian football we must believe in youngsters. They take part in our training sessions several times a week.

"For me, it's much easier to work with youngsters as they want to learn something."

Besiktas know a win will ensure they qualify for the last 16, and they would top the group if Napoli and Benfica draw.

Anderson Talisca, Caner Erkin and Aras Ozbiliz are missing through injury for the Turkish side.
